PP sheet is a semi crystalline material. It has a higher melting point than PE. Due to the high brittleness of PP temperatures above 0 ℃, many commercial PP materials are irregular copolymers with 1 to 4% ethylene added.
1. Classification of PP sheets
(1) Pure PP board: low density, easy to weld and process, with superior chemical resistance, heat resistance and impact resistance, non-toxic and odorless, it is the most environmentally friendly engineering plastic. The main colors are white and microcomputer color, and other colors can also be customized according to customer requirements.
(2) Polypropylene extruded sheet: It is a plastic sheet made by adding various functional additives PP resin through extrusion, rolling, cooling, cutting and other processes.
(3) Glass fiber reinforced PP board: After 20% glass fiber reinforcement, the strength and stiffness are twice as high as PP, with good heat resistance, low-temperature impact resistance, corrosion arc resistance, and low shrinkage rate.
2. Feature application
(1) PP sheets have the characteristics of light weight, uniform thickness, smooth surface, good heat resistance, high mechanical strength, excellent electrical insulation, good chemical stability, and non toxicity.
(2) PP sheets are widely used in chemical containers, machinery, electronics, electrical appliances, food packaging, decoration water treatment, etc. The actual temperature of the Pp board can reach 100 degrees.
3. Color range used
(1) The commonly used colors for PP sheets include beige, green, blue, porcelain white, milky white, semi transparent, and other colors can also be customized.
